Sustainable Circular Economy
For a circular economy to work, all stakeholders along the value chain must be involved and take responsibility for the protection of our resources.
The Pekutherm Recycling Partner Program brings together manufacturers, retailers and processors in the field of sustainability and creates circular solutions for the entire thermoplastic semi-finished products industry.
Our PMMA and PC Recycling System
Our recycling and take-back system for acrylic glass (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC) provides participating companies with an easy process to return their scrap and off-cuts into the recycling cycle. They thus make a valuable contribution to ensuring that sufficient recycled material is available for resource-saving products.
Collected sheet rests and scrap are sorted at Pekutherm, separated from foreign materials and granulated. The sorted and pure recyclates are returned to the respective manufacturer according to their origin. New sustainable sheets are produced there – the cycle starts all over again.
Recycling Certificate
The “Recycling Partner Program” seal confirms the participation in the take-back system and symbolizes the partnership of all parties involved (manufacturers, traders and processors) for circular recycling of thermoplastic semi-finished products and can be used for corporate communication.
Participating companies are partners in the Pekutherm Recycling Partner Program and receive an annual recycling certificate for the amount returned.
