Cyclinder Purging Compounds

For color and material changes on extrusion and injection molding machines

A clean solution: purogran®

purogran® Type K3
Purges small extruders, injection molding machines, and blow molding machines from 190° to 300° Celsius

purogran® Type K5
Purges medium-sized extruders, injection molding machines, and blow molding machines from 190° to 300° Celsius

purogran® Type S400
Purges all extruders, injection molding machines, and blow molding machines from 150° to 400° Celsius

Purges gently, very effectively and cost saving!

purogran® is a purging compound based on thermoplastics and is used for color and material change-overs on all extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding machines. purogran® purges all thermoplastics gently, very effectively and above all reduces costs. It’s quick and easy to apply, easy to use and absolutely non-toxic.

The rub-off effect.
purogran® purges all commercially available thermoplastics, including technical polymers, and is generally used with the same machine settings as the thermoplastic to be purged. By warming, the material expands, softens up and develops its highly effective rub-off effect: It literally frees the machine — gently and without attachments.

Your advantages:

  • Shorter machine downtimes
  • Less material expenses
  • Minimizes waste disposal costs
  • Effective personnel placement
  • Ideal price-performance ratio

I use purogran®-type S400 for purging my extruders after high-performance polymer extrusions and achieve excellent purging results with it.
